What you can expect

We are looking for a candidate to support in the practical implementation of our measurement technology as soon as possible.

·  In an exciting and dynamic environment, you will develop prototypes for sensor systems in the position of Test Engineer.
·  In the process, you will conceptualize, design and construct optical test benches and assume responsibility for planning and carrying out the measurement technology qualification of prototypes.
·  Additionally, you will ensure that the prototype works reliably and consistently within the specific requirements and operating environments.
·  Beyond that, you will prepare specifications and documentation to accompany the development process.
·  Within the scope of building competencies and product development and/or manufacturing, you will work with others on complex technical solutions.

What we expect

·  You have an engineering degree in the area of optics, measurement technology or electrical engineering.
·  Furthermore, you also have at least two years of professional experience in the optics segment and have advanced knowledge and skills related to optoelectronics and measurement technology.
·  You have advanced knowledge and skills in at least one of the following software tools: Zemax, Python, MATLAB or LabView.
·  Additionally, you are familiar with the statistical design of experiments for products and prototypes and have already designed, analyzed and validated these.
·  Beyond that, you communicate with poise and confidence in both German and English, and your strengths include a high level of initiative and highly developed teamwork skills within interdisciplinary teams.
