What you can expect

In the role of Data Engineer within our Global Data Strategy, Stewardship & Management unit, you will support disruptive and innovative digitization projects that add value within the scope of our digital roadmap in the area of data management from the idea to prototyping and through to launch.

·  You will compile large, complex data sets that correspond to functional and non-functional business requirements.
·  To this end, you will work closely together with data scientists and data owners.
·  For optimum extraction, transformation and loading of data, you will create a data pipeline infrastructure from a large number of data sources.
·  You will create processes to support data transformations, data structures, metadata, dependencies and workload management.
·  Further tasks will deal with fundamental issues relating to work in a cloud environment (Azure or AWS) and a cloud-based data warehouse like Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.

What we expect

·  After completing your degree in business or economics, you have gained several years of professional experience in project management.
·  In the process, you acquired extensive knowledge and skills in the areas of data and function modeling, database conceptualization, system integration, IT infrastructure and the IT system landscape.
·  Based on your affinity for IT, it is easy for you to work with IT technologies and IT security.
·  You impress international partners with your German and English language skills.
·  You always try to satisfy customer requests, but do not lose sight of the company's goals in the process.
