Customer Service Officer in Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)

Job description

In the area of performance materials, we develop and produce innovative plastics and foams for a wide variety of applications. Whether for cars, buildings or sporting goods - we are always looking for the ideal material solution. We work closely with our customers for this: from production and logistics to research and sales to component testing, design advice and simulation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Supply Chain Management unit is responsible for the order and material management, as well as the production planning for engineering plastics.

·  You are responsible for the customer and order management of assigned customers and operate as the contact person for all external and internal questions.
·  Furthermore, you process, coordinate and control the processing of sales orders from incoming orders to the invoices and continuously exchange information with other units such as material, business and account management.
·  Based on the information you collect from our customers, you process customer complaints and contribute to the improvement of our order-to-cash process.
·  In addition, you plan potential needs of customers based on the existing customer and market information.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Completed commercial training
·  Experience in customer and order management
·  Extensive knowledge of supply chain processes and SAP R/3
·  Very good communication skills in German and English
