Description

You can be part of an inclusive team of diverse talent and character. In this diversity lies our greatest strength.
At BASF, we create chemistry through the power of connected minds. By balancing economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility, we are building a more sustainable future through chemistry. As the world’s leading chemical company, we help our customers in nearly every industry meet the current and future needs of society through science and innovation.

The Agro Professional Development Program (PDP) recruits highly motivated, recent university graduates to join BASF’s Canadian Agricultural Solutions Division.

The PDP role is a 24 months rotational program; with terms spent working in field research, technical development or commercial teams focused on crop protection. Participants will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs for the technical and research functions in BASF. The roles will be located across western Canada and will focus on an array of functions such as pathology, entomology, and herbicides. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be eligible for full time roles in research, technical service or sales.

Whether your long term interests are in a technical or a commercial field, we’re on the lookout for talented forward-thinkers with a passion for agriculture, learning and working as a team. In return, we will give you the ability to expand your skill set and build your career.  We offer excellent benefits, competitive compensation incentives and continuous learning opportunities.  You can be part of an inclusive team of diverse talent and character.
