Job description



Job Purpose:

The PMO for the Advertising & Media Integrated Model is responsible to project-manage all the operational aspects of an Integrated Model pilot in 4 markets over 3 years (2020-22): UK, DE, HK, IT.

This Integrated Model is a first in the AXA marketing and communications strategy and therefore carries a lot of importance. Not only is AXA expected to yield great efficiencies from this pilot, it will generate lessons that will drive the decision whether to expand this model to all AXA entities.

Dimensions:

The Integrated Model Pilot PMO will not have a budget to manage directly (Creative, Media, Data and Tools are housed elsewhere). However this person will work closely with the managers of those budgets and may have an impact on budget decisions.
For reference, the total Creative & Media budget in these 4 entities represents a significant proportion of the AXA worldwide budget

Key Accountabilities:

Monitor and report the progress in the implementation and day-to-day delivery of the Integrated Model via a minimum of activities:
· Support Group Brand Managers, Media Expert, Measurement team, & Procurement, in diverse elements related to the model delivery: campaign management; contract enforcement; media audit touchpoints (quarterly updates and annual results), fee reimbursement implications of audit results; agency assessment, KPI tracking, and bonus implications.
· Aggregate and report on a periodical basis the highlights of the delivery of the model (campaign progress, campaign results, efficiencies, satisfaction assessments, entity and Group stakeholder opinions) to key central stakeholders. These reports will be a basis of updates to:
· Head of Comms, Brand & CSR (Monthly basis);
· Group and Pilot Entity Brand Directors, Advertising and Media Directors, Brand Managers, Procurement (monthly basis)
· Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with Agency and Head of Comms, Brand, CSR
· AXA CMO & Brand Director community (bi-annual basis)
· AXA CEO & Agency CEO annual meetings

Lead creation of knowledge within AXA about the Integrated Model, via:
· Documentation of process and governance
· Document best-case studies from campaigns in terms of Data-generated insights, insight-driven creative and media ideas, time and resource efficiencies, evidenced improved media-buying power, improvements in production process
Ultimately, help make a recommendation on whether the Integrated Model should be rolled out to rest of AXA entities, and propose plan, should the path be to extend model to other entities.

Qualifications :

Main competencies:

·  Strong Project Management skills in global advertising and/or media topics
·  Agency model experience or Agency Model Management experience required
·  Demonstrated analytical and communications skills
·  Experience in working in international environments (the candidate will be in constant touch with Paris-based agency as well as AXA teams and agencies in London, Dusseldorf, Milan and Hong Kong)
·  Basic understanding of performance metrics and analytics tools
·  Fluent in English and Proficient in French (at minimum)
·  5 years minimum experience in Advertising/Media
