Steer the entities to ensure the coherence of the strategies, the consistency of the commercial approaches as well as the optimization of the risks and results;

Defining and coordinating Group policies, different transversal projects and standards, identifying and sharing best practices;

Supporting the entities to help them to grow, to develop their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their risk management.

Direction Presentation:

Group Internal Audit monitors and reviews the effectiveness of the internal control and risk management framework operated within the Group and directs the global internal audit teams to accomplish its objectives of providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of risk management, internal control and governance processes. The Head Office team performs internal audit reviews of Head Office as well as coordination of transversal reviews performed across the world by local internal audit teams and occasionally performing certain audit missions or investigations in other parts of the Group.

Core activities:

Internal Audit reviews of P&C actuarial topics

Lead and conduct internal audit reviews of Corporate Centre (Group functions) covering more particularly Risk Management and P&C actuarial topics with proactive update and feedback to the manager. Work could include the review of the following topics: Group AFR, Group Aggregation, CAT Nat risk solvency II capital requirement, Reserving ect.

Document and review audit work of team members in our internal audit tool in accordance with standards;

Write the audit report making recommendations on internal controls, operating efficiencies and governance processes being reviewed;

·
Communicate audit results to senior management team members and business line management;

·
Follow-up audit findings and recommendations and monitor management's response and implementation;

Other
·
Develop and maintain professional relationships with management;

·
Assist in developing training programs on Risk Management subjects that may be of wider interest to the audit community;

·
Provide assistance to the Business & Risk Audit forum, preparing presentations on relevant topics as needed;

·
Assist in the development of the annual Internal Audit plan;

·
Actively involved in discussing with GIE AXA and Corporate Centre Top Management, the adequacy of controls to address those risks to ensure that Internal Audit is regarded as a value-added function;

·
Identify training needs with respect to Risk auditing approaches, tools and techniques and remain current through an on-going commitment to participation in learning and development;

·
Participate in ad-hoc projects bringing technical expertise as determined by the Global Head of Finance and Risk audit.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

Education:
Graduate specialising in P&C Actuarial,.

Experience:
Minimum of 5-year experience in a big 4 company or in Risk Management / Modelling activities.

Other skills:
·  Proficient in English and French (both essential)
·  Strong technical understanding of non-life insurance including actuarial models , Risk Management core concepts & methodologies
·  Ability to understand various actuarial models
·  Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to perform audits on technical risk management concepts
·  Sturdy qualitative risk based thinking and problem-solving skills
·  Professional certification would be a +
·  High level of computer literacy
·  Willing to travel for up to 20% of time
·  Good understanding of Solvency II requirements
