Job description



Experience working with ServiceNow domains
ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification (good to have) 

• Design, develop and maintain custom code for all ServiceNow modules 
• Analyzes user requirements and current procedures in order to design and enhance process workflows within the ServiceNow environment 
• Create technical architecture, design and user guide documentation 
• Design, develop and enhancement to the ServiceNow modules in support of SLA and reporting requirements 
• Works with internal process managers and ServiceNow administrators to implement and support all ServiceNow modules
Customizing and configuring core modules like IM,PM, CM, SRM, SLM and KM based on requirements.
Hands on Experience in Update sets, Scheduled imports, Transform Maps and Transform Scripts.
Hands on Experience in dealing with Client side(client script ,UI policy) / Server side scripting(business rule,script include,UI Actions, etc)
 ServiceNow Integration experience is definitely a plus 
Facilitate roll out of new applications and modules in ServiceNow
Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
Ensure latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to client IT operations
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools
Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible
Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, testing and production environments
• At least four (4) years of relevant ServiceNow development experience in an enterprise environment 
• Experience with AJAX, Jelly, or PERL scripting 
• Experience coding of DHTML/XHTML and CSS 
• Experience developing with Relational Databases such as MYSQL 
• Demonstrated knowledge of database design and table interaction within the ServiceNow environment 
• Experience talking to customers to get business requirements, understanding challenges and translating those into working solutions 
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
 • Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
 • Experience working with a 24x7x365 Managed Services environment would be preferred 
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow and good experience in doing customization in UI Pages / UI Macro / Jelly Scripting / JavaScript etc. 
• Knowledge of Web Development frameworks like Angular JS / HTML 5 / JQuery / CSS 
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Key Competencies 
• Requires strong understanding of processes, key measurements, operating level targets etc. 
• Proven ability to work across multiple functional teams in the creation of an application development/support process 
• Maintain an effective approach on problem solving, multi-tasking, coordinating and scheduling the team of developers, equipment and materials in accordance with the Project Plan to ensure visibility and predictability.
