Job description

Position Title:

PC Build technician

 

Location and work Hours:

5707 Dot Com Court

Oviedo, Florida  32765

Monday – Friday 7:30am 4:30pm

 

Core Responsibilities:

Receiving in equipment

Logging equipment into asset mgmt. system

Imaging new PCs

Transferring data to new PC

Loading software

Verifying PC operation, troubleshooting, and resolution

Interaction with end-users

Shipping equipment

 

Minimum requirements:

2+ years performing PC support

Ability to image a PC, load and configure software

Ability to transfer data and files between PCs

Ability to remove and install hard drives

Update inventory system with PC information (i.e. make, mode, serial number, etc.)

Package and ship PC’s

Inventory and record incoming hardware shipments

Basic PC trouble shooting skills

Excellent verbal, written and organization skills

 

Preferred qualifications:

Highschool diploma or GED

Associates degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent trade school certification

Able to lift 40lbs
