Job description:  

This role will drive business outcomes through the continuing transformation and modernization of the IT landscape in a large media and entertainment client. The ideal candidate will have broad media industry and application architecture experience and an unending desire to learn and drive continual transformation across the entire landscape.

This person will own the growth mandate for all next generation digital & technology offerings and solutions for Media, Broadcasting, Platform and Immersive customer Experience. Work in tandem with a larger team and the client to deliver thought leadership and value creation.

Deep understanding of media and Studio functions including production, pre and post production, broadcast, linear delivery and streaming delivery.  Further, experience in the surrounding functions like rights management, digital media asset management, OTT Platform, and sales and insertion are a plus.  Finally, understanding how data analytics can be applied to the media industry and its various functions.

Continuous transformation and innovation includes, but is not limited to, application development and maintenance for media functions, big data and analytics, automation, multi-platform digital content distribution services, media services, cloud, network architecture in support of content, caching and edge distribution, and platform, & data center hosting

Deep knowledge of the Industry Trends and impacts on the client business

Be a key advisor to the client (C-Suite), to influence their perceptions, preferences and direction. They will focus on the customer's business...

Cultivate and champion large digital transformation initiatives that impacts a client near term goals and longer term vision (ideation through MVP).

Key Responsibilities 

·  Accountable and responsible to own and drive the enterprise transformation and modernization of the enterprise IT landscape in a large media and entertainment client.
·  Develop strong relationships with the client becoming a trusted advisor.
·  Know and understand the account services, application, data analytics and infrastructure architecture across all constituent parts.
·  Can act as the Account Architecture Authority, providing Governance and Assurance to both pre and post sales driven design change.
·  Contribute and support the development of technology strategy, roadmaps and future state architectures for the account in conjunction with the Market and GBU CTO and the client’s address business revenue and margin targets, while exceeding customer expectations.
·  Become the trusted advisor to the client, while establishing and maintain relationships with key Strategic Alliances.
·  Able to successfully operate within a highly matrixed and complex technical and business environment with the capability to identify, qualify and direct / orchestrate cross Atos opportunities.
·   Capable of managing a complex portfolio which contains multiple engagements and innovative initiatives (MVP).
·   As an industry expert, develop and syndicate thought leadership throughout Atos and across the industry.

 

Qualifications

·  College/University graduate degree required and post graduate degree desired.
·  10+ years of related industry experience in Media and Entertainment.  10+ years of experience in Enterprise IT, Management/Technology consulting, Software development and/or Enterprise/Solution architecture.
·   Proven experience as a senior business, technology and/or operations leaders.
·  Experience leading Digital Transformations is highly desirable (technology, operations, finance, organization)
·  Demonstrated and sustained results achievement

Knowledge and Skills

·  Excellent executive communication/presentation skills, collaborator, consultative-selling, critical thinking, data driven analysis, design thinking, Agile/XP and timely follow-through.
·   Adept at leading change and driving meaningful outcomes at the executive level.
·  Expert knowledge of industry trends, leading change and Digital Transformation. 
·  Ample hands-on experience with emerging technologies (Cloud Service Providers, Cybersecurity, OTT Platform, Business Applications, Immersive customer Experience, AI/ML, AR/VR, IOT, Media Content, DevSecOps, API/Serverless, Platform Ecosystems)
·  Applications and systems that run media functions for large organizations.  Big data and analytics experience applied preferably applied in a media environment.
·  Multi-platform digital content distribution services, modern cloud services, CDN architecture, enterprise network architecture including content, caching and edge distribution and media protocols.
