Level 3 (GVS) Engineer

Core Responsibilities -

·  Diagnose, reproduce and resolve/confirm fixes for complex, critical customer problems for enterprise collaboration/emergency response products, as member of a 24x7 global, level 3 software engineering support team.
·  Ensure that SLA/OLA (Operation Level Agreement) KPIs for customer problem ticket handling are consistently met.
·  Lead critical operations & service restoration tasks on customer deployments to ensure business continuity.
·  •Work jointly with software/quality engineering teams on constantly improving the solutions’ quality and customer satisfaction rate.
·  Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of Unify products’ technology, architecture and implementation.
·  Carry-out technical knowhow transfer toward level 2 support groups.
·  Act as the “voice of the customer” towards product teams for recurring issues or feature requests.

 

Minimum Qualifications -

Education & Profile

·  University degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or similar discipline.
·  6+ years of professional experience in a Software/Quality/Support Engineering position, preferably within the telecommunications domain.
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills – customers contact us via calls, chats, and email.
·  Customer service experience / strong customer focus.
·  Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills and experience.
·  Work hours/shift flexibility.

 

Technical Skills

·  Extensive hands-on experience with Linux/Windows OS and virtualization platforms.
·  Solid Programming skills in an Object-Oriented language.
·  Strong computer networking and VoIP communications skills.
·  Working knowledge of the full application development life cycle and agile methodologies.
·  Experience with development/quality engineering tooling landscape.

 

Preferred -

·  ITIL foundation.
·  CCNA certification.
