At Atos, the Information Solution Architect will lead the strategy and implementation for the end-to-end solution by taking into consideration the client’s needs regarding: business case, objectives, requirements, and constraints. The role requires good presentation and communication skills as well as good technical capabilities in all aspects of the solution, this includes data integration, data architecture, information delivery and analytics, infrastructure, testing, technical standards, best practices, tools and technologies, security, and technical oversight of architecture, design, development, capacity planning, performance tuning, and technical administration. The successful candidate is expected to be multi-disciplined and knowledgeable in Azure, information strategies, solution alternatives and technical strategies.

 

Responsibilities:

·  Designing technical IS solution while ensuringalignment with other modules and applications
·  Work with implementation teams from concept to operations, providing deep technical subject matter expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in the enterprise, using modern data/analytics technologies on premise and cloud
·  Support and advice on changing existing IS solutions
·  Maintain documentation of integrations
·  Create detailed target state technical, security, data and operational architecture and design blueprints incorporating modern data technologies and cloud data services demonstrating modernization value proposition

 

        Key Qualifications and Experience:

·  MA/Msc in Computer Science/IS or equivalent work experience
·  Experience in creating and operationalizing large scale solutions using one or more of Azure data and analytics services in combination with custom solutions - Spark, Azure Data Lake, HDInsights, SQL DW, DocumentDB, Search, Elastic Pool etc.
·  Experience analyzing, re-architecting and re-platforming on-premise data warehouses to data platforms on Azure.
·  Experience creating production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture, using Java, Python, Scala etc., and designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on Azure
·  Experience creating data and analytics platforms, data lakes for analytics and BI application integration; data engineering, ingestion and curation functions on Azure cloud using Azure native or custom programming
·  Hands-on Azure experience with a minimum of 1 solution designed and implemented at production scale
·  Architecting and implementing data governance and security services for data platforms on Azure
·  Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands on time, in cross-functional, virtual and international teams
·  A collaborative, solutions- and customer-service-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
