Job Description:

 

As hardware electronics engineer you will be working on high end ARM processors, wireless communications and other technologies to develop the hardware for payment terminals … defining, analyzing, developing, validating and documenting new hardware … Something for you? Then join us as a Hardware Development Engineer in our Technologies & Products department.

Activities
Our engineers study, design, develop and maintain our range of payment terminals (both hardware and software solutions) offering reliable, fast, secure and cost efficient electronic payment solutions and value added services to our customers.

Profile
Can you demonstrate a capacity for technical leadership, technical analysis and the delivery of high quality hardware components? Are you open-minded and innovative when it comes to evaluating solutions? Are you a good team player? These qualities are essential! We’re also looking for the following skills and experience:

·  Master’s degree or equivalent specialized experience in electronics or automation
·  Maximum of five years’ professional experience
·  passion for technology, especially high end Arm processors, wireless communications
·  confidence and self-discipline
·  capacity for analysis and integration when examining options
·  good communication skills – fluent Dutch and/or French, plus English
·  knowledge of embedded systems is an asset

Technologies
To feel comfortable in this challenging environment, you’ll need to be at home with:

·  High end ARM processors, wireless communication standards, RF
·  PCB design tools (schematic, layout, simulation)
·  Usage of oscilloscopes, logic state analyzers, spectrum analyzers
·  C programming, Python, Linux
·  Open OCD
