Board design engineer responsible for design, implementation, bring up testing and validation of boards used in servers and switches.

Responsibilities:

·  Electrical design of the module from requirement specifications.
·  Estimate system power budget, Design of voltage regulators.
·  Prepare detailed design document
·  Schematic entry in Concept HDL
·  Define board layout constraints, routing guidelines
·  Define board stack up, impedance rules.
·  Perform Signal integrity analysis
·  Review the PCB layout.
·  Prepare engineering BOM
·  Review the design for DFM/DFT
·  Prepare and perform detailed board bring up and validation plan.
·  Assist in performing system level compliance tests and safety tests.
·  Define test functions for manufacturing testing.

Desired experience:

·  Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering (BE/B-Tech).
·  2-4 years of experience in high speed board design and testing.
·  Experience in Concept HDL schematic entry tool
·  Familiar with Cadence Allegro Board layout tool.
·  Proficient in high speed board design concepts (Experience in SI simulation and analysis will be a plus)
·  Experience in defining stack up and routing strategy for boards with operating speed more than 10Gb/s
·  Experience in board bring up and testing.
·  Knowledge in reliability analysis.
·  Hands on experience in using high speed digital oscilloscopes, data analyzers.
·  Knowledge in Intel x86 architecture.
·  Experience in design and validation of high speed serial interfaces PCIe, SATA.

Advantage : Programming and scripting capabilities. Strong understanding of High Level System Aspects. Linux operation systems

Personal Skills : Independent and self-learning. Strong interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
