Sr Financial Analyst

Job Description

 

·  Assigned to large, strategic client account, acting as "CFO" for the account and responsibile for driving financial excellence in all areas
·  Business Partner to Client Manager or Delivery Manager
·  Supervise small team of financial analysts, as required
·  Responsible for month end close and consolidation for assigned accounts and completion of monthly variance analyses, forecasts, and various reporting packages
·  Preparation of Budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts
·  At month end, challenge Operations to ensure that the P&L and the B/S are accurate. 
·  Ensure consistency and transparency of financial information
·  Support operational functions in the analyses of their activities 
·  Support cost improvement initiatives and analyze impact on cost base
·  Analyze to ensure savings and others improvement activities are materializing in P&L
·  Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
·  Support Operations in reaching financial targets
·  Check & sign off Contract Value, Backlog, WIP, accruals, provisions, overdue collections, and other relevant KPIs
·  Liaise with other functions on specific topics 
·  Analytical reviews; past-, current-, future, Actuals, Budget/Forecast
·  Provide ad-hoc analysis to Management
·  Provide the business with training and guidance on Project financial management

 

Required

 

·  Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business
·  8-12 years Experience in a relevant financial management function preferably in a multinational environment in a large quoted company
·  Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
·  Effective oral and written communication skills
