Organisational Overview:

The Global Finance Team provides monthly management accounts, forecasts, budget preparation, cost analysis, consolidation of reports and general financial advice to the Global Management Team by identifying business drivers and the context in which the role will operate now and in the future.

 

This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be working on the Company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. She/he will provide financial consulting and strategic support to onshore Finance Business Partners. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making.

 

Job Description (i.e.  What is the role?):

·  Prepares financial and business-related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments,Analysis of time recovery analysis and action, subcontractors spend.
·  Prepares consolidated forecasts and budgets and analyses trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas.
·  Handle month close activities including posting of accruals, prepayments, re class and reallocations entries.
·  Influence and input into the weekly forecasting rally process
·  Reviews complex data and analytics from various sources for accuracy and provides analyses to support decision-making process.
·  Assists with special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses.
·  Standardising and improving financial processes, and practices in line with business requirement to improve performance.
·  Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long-range plans.
·  Ownership of distinct area of tower to run with autonomy
·  Driving through RACE/Cost savings and holding business partners accountable
·  Maintains and coordinates Group financial review templates and meetings.
·  Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to Global management for decision making purposes
·  Support the Delivery Management Team and Global Delivery teams with in-depth analysis
·  Ability to work with different stakeholders and build relationship.
·  Support an end-to-end business unit including revenue, contract profitability and order entry as well as the delivery / cost base.
·  Dealing with audit queries (internal and external as required).
·  Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis

 

 

Competencies:

 

·  SAP/ Reporting tools (Clarity / Hyperion) / Excel – good levels of knowledge in all

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Person specification:

 

·  Master's degree in finance/accounting or related field. Qualified Accountant preferred.
·  Typically requires 9 to 15 years business related experience.
·  Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are precedents.
·  Strong analytical, problem solving skills with effective written and verbal communication skills.
·  Experience in preparing Financial & MIS reports, involved in Budgeting, Forecasting and doing a variance analysis.
·  Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
·  Excellent time management skills.
·  High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfortable working within a consolidation software system
·  Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
·  Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
·  Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
·  Should be experienced in handling a team/capable of handling a team & handle escalation
