To coordinate the WAAM (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing) development through the robotic printing pilot.
- To participate in the evolution of the laboratory's equipments in additive manufacturing by taking charge of new investments.
- To perform feasibility studies for new applications in different fields of activity such as construction, automotive or industry and finalize them by the printing of demonstrator type parts.
- To define and follow-up the characterization of printed parts and the development of the methodology for non-destructive testing (NDT), mechanical testing and metallography.
- To actively participate in the development of new steel grades for welding and specifically for WAAM application.
- To identify opportunities of development for additive manufacturing by carrying out an active tech watch on processes and applications.

Type of contract to be discussed with Management and HR.

Profil requis

Good knowledge of welding process applied to steel parts, openminded, team spirit, creative, rigourous and good communication skills.

Preliminary experience in steel welding process (GMAW/GTAW) and in robotics.
Basic skills in CAD.
Background in welding applied to automotive, construction and industry markets.
