Job description

DESCRIPTION

Are you passionate about designing user experiences and having a global impact? If so, the Amazon Customer Trust and Partner Solutions learning team would like to hear from you! We are seeking an innovative UX Designer to help us develop game-changing learning products that will help develop Amazon employees.

This UX Designer role combines the practices of Interaction Design, Visual Design and other product design disciplines together to help build a new learning experience for Amazon employees. We're looking for a design generalist who can develop excellent UI and visual concepts for instructional experiences, extend those concepts into complete, high-quality frameworks and style guides, and collaborate with instructional designers, developers, and engineers to bring those concepts to life. You will have a significant opportunity to impact the vision for our internal learning and development products.

To succeed, you'll focus first on the customer/learner perspective and set a high bar for visual standards across the team to develop best-in-class leader experiences. You understand the value of user research, testing and prototyping. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, embracing the idea that failure is a critical part of innovation. You are a visual master at your craft, capable of designing effective experiences and inspiring content, as well as a collaborative problem-solver.

Responsibilities
· Conduct user research, develop user personas, build user experience requirements
· Create, communicate, and test user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, interaction flows, motion and transitions, and visual design.
· Own the UX from beginning to end, including working hand-in-hand with instructional designers, developers, and engineers until the product/feature is built to spec, polished, and achieving program goals.
· Work inventively around constraints and navigate ambiguous situations.
· Create style guides, design systems, and libraries to be applied across all learning experiences.
· Own documentation and final production of all designs and assets.
· Be a passionate and effective advocate for design with non-design audiences.
· Drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements with limited oversight.
· Contribute to the brand experience and visual communication.
· Build relationships and communicate effectively with local and remote cross-functional teams.
