Amazon Europe is looking for a customer-focused, highly analytical, experienced Transportation Network Planner.

As part of the Network Planning team of Amazon Transportation Services in Europe, you will help to develop a best in class middle mile strategy for ground line-haul and sortation, designing and implementing an integrated network that maximizes service value proposition and minimizes costs.

You will be responsible for:
· Developing Transportation Network Plans and Strategic Initiatives
· Defining the optimal network configuration of lanes, nodes and timings, for peak and off-peak working with stakeholders across the Transportation organization
· Creating network and capacity plans to meet demand, reduce cost and improve speed
· Working closely with colleagues (Operations Research Scientists, Network Planners, Operations team) to drive analysis, business cases and alignment with business stakeholders
· Designing and managing robust cross-functional processes to sync monthly execution to planning

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Master of Science in Supply Chain, Transportation, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research or similar fields
· 3+ years of experience managing highly complex and ambiguous projects requiring strong analytics, fast business judgment and ability to align with stakeholders
· Advanced Excel knowledge
· Fluency in English is required
