AWS Support provides global technical support to a wide range of external customers as they build mission-critical applications on top of AWS services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2. The team is a self-standing P&L with our ability to drive both Amazon Free Cash Flow and world class customer experience. We have a team of talented engineers located in multiple locations around the world, and are growing rapidly.

Amazon Web Services has an opening in Seattle, Washington for a Training Program Manager (PM) to grow and promote the AWS Customer Connection Program (C2) globally. The ideal candidate is one who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong program management background. As Training PM overseeing C2, you will be responsible for understanding the vision of this program and the potential it has to impact our customers on a global scale. The scope for this role will include collaboration with AWS leadership to scale the program and work with team members to help develop a targeted marketing strategy to drive registration, analyze program metrics to pursue continuous improvement, and develop strategies to grow our program offerings in the virtual space. This role focuses on program management and development, project management, and program delivery. You will use your influence to drive conversations that make AWS better for our customers.

The primary responsibilities for the AWS C2 Training Program Manager include:
· Collaborate effectively with AWS Site Training Program Managers at each of the global sites to coordinate sessions and maintain the highest quality delivery and execution of the program.
· Implement, coordinate and schedule special C2 Session (C2++) across our North American and other key global sites.
· Collaborate with leadership and HR to create a program marketing strategy for our target leadership audience and specific teams in the AWS services space.
· Interface with internal Support Business partners to staff the program as it scales.
· Pursue and complete projects that drive overall program growth, quality, and efficacy, and innovate where the program can do more to reach the target audience.
· Foster strong relationships with AWS service teams, building bridges that enable improvement and long-term customer impact.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will be passionate about the growth and success of the C2 program and will shine a light on the work and customer obsession displayed by our AWS Support employees. Candidates will have experience in coordinating and managing global programs, the administrative experience to track and monitor classes and sessions in the LMS, as well as the vision needed to meet the growth goals set for this program and reach more customers than ever before. They will also have the following attributes:
· Demonstrated experience developing engaging presentations and material.
· Excellent communication skills and editing for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development; this includes skill in collaborating with subject matter experts and managers where needed to help write and develop technical content.
· Excellent coordination, project management, and organization skills.
· Demonstrated experience delivering in-person classroom training or presentations to senior leaders.
· Excellent data mining and analysis skills.
· 3+ years of experience in a training program management role or similar along with an undergraduate degree (in communication, education, technical or related field).
· 5+ years of experience in a training program management role or similar without a degree.
· 3+ years experience creating and editing ancillary resources and communication for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development; this includes collaborating with subject matter experts and managers to help write and develop technical content.
· 3+ years experience working with training software such as learning management systems (LMS's), basic learning technologies (e.g., webinar tools, Adobe Connect, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond), and MS Office.
