DESCRIPTION

The Prime Air Supplier Quality Team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated person excited to be on the leading edge of quality improvements through engineering development, emerging and disruptive technology innovations, and long-term supplier partnerships. We need a leader who can break down and solve complex, global problems for the benefit of our worldwide customer base.

The successful candidate will possess superb business judgment and be comfortable juggling different priorities in a fast-paced environment. S/he also will have experience building a team to support deep diving efforts and driving value engineering & quality initiatives with external vendors. This role requires comfort interfacing with, and persuading, individuals at all levels of the organization. On a daily basis, the successful candidate will champion new ideas and initiatives to improve cost structure and performance. S/he possesses strong project management skills and a special knack for identifying and managing risk.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of industry experience in quality, supply chain, engineering, or operations
· Experience with operations and delivery methodologies such as Lean/Six Sigma
· Demonstrated ability to think big and influence across all levels of an organization
· Established track record of taking ownership and driving results
· Superior professional writing and communication skills
· Strong influencing and negotiation skills

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in, Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Business, or other related quantitative discipline
· 5+ years of relevant work experience in quality, supply chain, operations, or engineering
· 3+ years of experience in program management, planning, manufacturing, or related field
