The Workforce Staffing (WFS) Team is looking for a Staffing Team Leader. In this role, you will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to business partners for multiple sites across in a defined geography (node). The Staffing Team Leader will also focus on strategizing community engagement plans, candidate experience and onboarding process improvement. At the direction of the Staffing Manager, you will guide a team of Staffing Coordinators, Administrators, and Ambassadors who thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment. You will lead this team in three key areas: 1) Owning the strategic development and delivery of community engagement plans, 2) Executing labor demand plans for multiple sites across the node, 3) execution of candidate engagement activities, and 4) development of relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to build long term partnerships. Successful candidates will be a tactical and analytical thinkers who can see around corners and demonstrate a passion for process improvement, candidate experience and onboarding process improvement. Our WFS node teams work flexible schedules, shifts, and areas to include evenings and weekends. We roll up our sleeves, work hard, have fun and make history!

The Staffing Team Leader – key responsibilities:

· Assists the Staffing Manager in the creation of a vision, based upon data, for a team/business and develops scalable strategies that capture the best talent and most diverse candidates at the lowest cost
· Reports out analyses of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Workforce Staffing performance via Key Performance Indicators
· Forecasts and creates staffing and investment strategies to build infrastructure and ensure team resource capabilities meet business demand
· Creates and implements labor acquisition strategies inclusive of employee class recommendations, labor pool utilization, talent pool conversion and other channel resources across different Amazon businesses
· Partners with local Site Leadership teams to include but not limited to Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and associated workflow teams to optimize labor requirements
· Develops and maintains relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to build long term partnerships
· Fosters strong partnership with Staffing Managers and Staffing Specialists to ensure candidate pipeline creation activities meet the demand
· Monitors KPI benchmarks, metrics, and understands how to prioritize to meet and exceed all business SLAs
· Owns training, development, team culture and morale for Staffing Coordinators, Administrators, and Ambassadors
· Staffing Team Leads will work with Staffing team members and partners across varying shifts to include evenings and weekends in multiple sites
· Must be able to travel as needed to conduct events in various locations within your designated Node or assigned geographical area. Local travel up to 75% required – National travel up to 10%
Expected Deliverables

· Manages and owns cost per hire budgets through oversight of labor acquisition, advertising and other talent acquisition costs within the node
· Manages and builds strategies to optimize candidate cycle time, conversion rates and applicant funnel metrics to benchmark
· Builds and fosters community engagement and sourcing strategies and demonstrate through data return on investment
· Executes community engagement and sourcing strategies and demonstrate success through return on investment
· Exceeds associate experience service levels and KPI’s measured by hiring activity results and defect reduction
· Have development discussions and provide detailed feedback to direct reports on performance and growth plans
· Partners with site Finance Managers and Operations Leaders to forecast and plan labor demand

The preferred qualifications, we prefer:
· Master’s degree or MBA preferred
· 5+ years of experience in a fast paced, customer oriented environment, such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, human resources or other related field
· 2+ years of experience managing hourly employees
· Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or other tracking and reporting systems like Salesforce
· Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience tracking key performance metrics including return on investment
· Local, Regional, or National Community partnership development
· Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
