DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Sourcing Analyst
Job Description: The Sourcing Analyst is an individual contributor within the Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team who is responsible to manage and coordinate procurement activities in Product Development & Innovation projects that reside within the Power and Cooling Equipment space supporting AWS Data Center build projects. This role's primary responsibility is to manage sourcing projects which help achieving the lowest total cost of ownership and risk mitigation fueling the exponential growth across our Data Centers as we meet and exceed customer demand.
Responsibilities include: Lead internal engagements across supply chain, engineering and business organizations while diving deep into the business process and metrics to improve productivity of Sourcing organization. Analyze trends involving the industry players – vendors, customers, and technology to develop strategies to protect continuity of supply, minimize risk and reduce cost. Manage strategic suppliers collaboration on product development pertaining to electrical/mechanical/control/hardware sub-systems for data centers or other mission critical facilities enabling quicker time to market. Manage sourcing projects that will support the teams’ development of an end-to-end sourcing plan globally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with end-to-end procure-to-pay process.
· Experience in project management or leading an implementation of a process.
· Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer
· MBA or advanced degree in engineering or other quantitative disciplines.
· Experience with end-to-end procure-to-pay process.
· Experience in data centers, an infrastructure service provider or similar technology company.

· Experienced in delivering products against plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed-responsibility environment
· Ability to work with teams at all levels of the organization.
· Keys to success in this role include sound judgment and excellent written/verbal communication skills. The candidate should be able to extract insights from data and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions.
· Fluent in multiple languages preferred

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering or business.
· 3+ year of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, including negotiating, supplier management, and driving supply chain improvements.
· Industry experience in construction or equipment sourcing or purchasing.
