To accomplish this vision, we seek a talented and driven Senior Technical Product Manager to define and deliver world-class products and toolkits that make it easier for developers to create richer and more interactive experiences that take advantage of the broad range of capabilities that Alexa enabled devices support - including designing and developing for voice, screen and future interactive experiences.

As the Senior Technical Product Manager for Skill Activation team you will define the vision, product roadmap and features for skill onboarding, account linking, skill personalization experiences. You will also be responsible for collaborating with and guiding a cross functional team of engineers and designers to achieve your vision. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background with superb analytic thinking and communication skills. A track record of defining market leading products that enable designers and developers to bring their ideas to life is preferred.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Leading the development of product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
2. Developing a deep understanding of customer needs and defining features and a roadmap to achieve the vision that achieves product-market fit
3. Developing crisp, detailed business requirements and user stories that can be translated into product specifications and technical designs
4. Managing prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance, and schedule
5. Communicating vision and product details across various functions and levels of the organization
6. Creating buy-in for product vision with internal and external partners
7. Working with public relations, marketing, executives, and other product management team members to drive go-to-market and product launch activities
8. Proactively identifying and resolving strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to communicate clearly with both senior leadership and coworkers
· Entrepreneurial with a track record of creating products and services in a new market segment
· Familiarity with voice and/or interaction design as well as development tools
· Superior verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work autonomously and drive structure around ambiguous problems and projects
· MBA or Master’s Degree

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of relevant work experience in Product Management with a history of shipping products customers love
· Experience interacting with developers and translating their needs into scoped requirements for new tools and services
· Experience defining business objectives and strategies to achieve them
· Experience defining product requirements and working with UX and engineering teams to deliver on your vision
· Experience coordinating and driving product development cycles across teams
· Experience in web services and/or consumer facing websites/applications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
