Title: Sales Representative III
Location: Seattle, WA
Work closely with customers to strategize cloud migration plans. Help Amazon service teams determine prioritization for new feature and services for customers and prospective customers. Work closely with product managers and engineering groups to determine customer feedback aligned with impact of shipping new features and services to best support their growing use of cloud services. Business planning and strategy to help grow the Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) business in the United States. Write strategy documents and compose narratives focused on review of the Elastic Compute Cloud business performance and making recommendations on ways to pivot/modify strategic decisions based on near real-time data analysis. Direct Sales Engagement to help customers select Amazon Web Services as their preferred cloud provider based on unique business challenges or requirements. Prepare responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), engaging with customers in-person and virtually answering questions about licensing, support and technical discussions, and the viability of particular elements of the Elastic Compute Cloud business for their existing on-premises workloads.

Ideal candidate profile
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. Must have ones year of experience in the following skills: (1.) experience with Software Licensing, including License Mobility and Volume Licensing; (2.) selling cloud services; (3.) data center migrations; and (4.) specialized sales with business and technical decision maker audiences. Domestic travel required up to 50%.
