DESCRIPTION

Are you a problem solver who likes working with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and drive innovative solutions? The Amazon Seller Qualification team is looking for you! At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth and to ensure a great experience for Customers, Sellers and Brand Owners. Our program ensures that Customers can buy with confidence on Amazon by qualifying Sellers to sell certain products. As a Rule Writer, you will work with business owners, product managers, and developer teams to define rule logic and improve process that are impacting program strategy and project timelines. This position involves regular communication with internal teams on program updates, risks, and change management. Cross-team coordination, program management, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities will include:
· Managing multiple program areas – maintain ongoing operations, track delivery against program goal and implement proposals to improve rule accuracy.
· Proactively identifying and resolving program issues that may impair the team's ability to meet goals.
· Assessing and prioritizing program/process needs based on data-driven analysis of Seller and Customer impact.
· Identifying stakeholder pain points and supporting the creation of self-service tools for internal clients and stakeholders.
· Influencing and working with a large cross functional team that includes both technical and non-technical members.
· Working across functional teams and across geographic regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent
· Ability to work under time pressure and meet performance goals
· Exceptional organizational skills, and ability to work independently and autonomously
· Self-motivated with critical attention to detail
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong sense of ownership. Proactively remove program obstacles and willingness to go above and beyond to chase down loose ends that lead to successful completion of projects
· Ability to influence others with limited authority
