Job Overview
Amazon is seeking an experienced and business oriented Robotics Deployment Engineer. As a Robotics Deployment Engineer, you will be part of a high performing and talented team to deliver Amazon's leading edge robotics technologies to its growing suite of warehouses around the globe. This job requires a unique combination of engineering know how, problem solving, curiosity, innovation, leadership, and effective communication. You will travel extensively (~75%) to support Amazon's various locations in North America, with opportunities to travel abroad. Successful candidates are results driven and highly motivated individuals who have an Engineering background and team lead experience. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization in order to be successful..

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BS in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
· Comfort working with leading edge technology including software, hardware and robotics
· Leading teams through setup and configuration of software, hardware, and robotics systems
· Performing on-site hardware and software support during initial system deployment
· Managing onsite relationships with multiple internal and external teams during the on-site implementation of the system
· Self-motivated and able to solve problems independently and in team settings
· Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with a talented team.
· Proven technical leadership experience in development and implementation of large scale, complex projects.
· Ability to understand and improve operational processes.
