Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, design, optimize and validate WiFi/BT/WAN related products and co-work with ODM projects to mitigate potential issues to ensure good RF performance and yields during every builds. He/she will also be responsible for critical EMI or certification issues resolve together with vendor partners during the product development. The candidate will get involved in innovative process improvement initiatives and experiment his own ideas that improve cost and quality.

The role
· Work within project team and take responsibility for wireless technology implementation such as WAN, WiFi, BT etc, and wireless performance
· Define specification on RF performance and wireless system level performance based on business model, device architecture, and other high level definitions
· Be responsible for the design, Simulate, implement, validate, optimize and review RF circuitry (including schematic and layout) and its related performance
· Meet with vendors and technology suppliers to key components selection ,qualification and test facility validation
· Work with partners to deal with EMI issues to meet certification requirements
· Take the product through development, compliance testing, operator testing, ramp up and sustaining
· Support radiated manufacturing test and defects in factory and critical desnese issues

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MSEE or relative
· Antenna design,OTA, and desense validation and debug experience
· Experience of SI and PI on high speed interface such as HDMI, LVDS, USB, PCIE,etc and power distribution network
· RF circuitry, desense or EMI simulation experience with ADS,AWS, HFSS, CST or other simulation tools
· Experience on wireless charging

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 5 years of RF design experience in high volume manufacturing, preferably in Wifi/BT related products or similar consumer electronics supporting high data rates transmission or other wireless technologies such as WAN
· Familiar with general wireless communications standards such as IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n/ac or 3GPP (for LTE/WCDMA/GSM,etc)
· Familiar wireless system requirements, RF circuitry schematic design, layout and key components selection
· Familiar with schematic and layout tools(Cadence, Pads, etc)
· Capability to develop system and RF performance specification, test coverage, and test cases
· Experience on compliance testing for FCC/CE, EMI standards and debugging techniques
· Familiar with RF call box such as Litepoint IQ, Anritsu8870A, Agilent8960, Anritsu8820 or CMW500/270 for RF testing and other regular instruments such as VNA, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope
· Experience on factory RF testing and failure analysis and DOEs
· Knowledgeable in production control processes, data analysis/interpretation GR&R, Cp/Cpk and correlation analysis
