DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Business Development, Advertising, and Entertainment (BDAE) Design Recruiting organization supports a diverse group of businesses including Amazon Music, Amazon Advertising, Prime Video, Amazon Studios and many more! Our BDAE Recruiting team is searching for a skilled recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a strong reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, are highly organized, effective communicators, possess the ability to prioritize, push back, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, all while being highly customer focused and collaborative. Primary Responsibilities:
· Partner with BDAE Design teams to build effective sourcing, engagement, and assessment approaches.
· Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiting partners in a highly visible, client-facing role. Own requisition kick off meetings and regular meetings with clients to provide expertise on search strategy and build effective partnerships.
· Engage and recruit passive design candidates on a variety of digital platforms.
· Manage inbound pipeline for referrals and online applicants, and locate additional roles within AWS for candidates to consider.
· Ability to manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline, report on metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.
· Demonstrated ability to gather data, package reporting and communicate insights to a variety of audiences to include peers and Amazon leadership
· Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios.
· Recommend ideas and strategies related to Design recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
· Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Screen, review design portfolios, interview and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
· Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years' experience of corporate and/or agency recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
· Strong knowledge of Boolean, x-ray searches and additional sourcing software
· Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships simultaneously
· Experience reporting against recruiting metrics/ results to internal clients
· Experience building and driving a variety of talent sourcing initiatives
· Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, resume databases, internet sourcing tools and complex spreadsheets
