DESCRIPTION

Amazon Advertising creates and executes innovative digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms in 8 countries. The Amazon Advertising Quality Assurance team ensures these ads meet Amazon's high bar for customer experience. As a QA Tech you will have the opportunity to be part of a team working on advertising for Amazon.com, Kindle Special Offers and Amazon Mobile Ads. Our Advertising QA team works on behalf of millions of Amazon customers, ensuring that advertisements meet our high quality standards. As a QA Tech you would enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can obsess over customers by delivering quality releases daily. In addition to experience with manual testing, we're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional who excels at finding bugs and working on and a wide range of technologies.

The Role
The successful Quality Assurance Tech will be obsessed with customer experience, quality improvement, and challenge the status quo. In this role, you will:
· Own manual testing cutting edge applications and products at the user level.
· Write and maintain black box test cases.
· Find patterns in bugs and drive quality upstream.
· Assist designers, traffickers or other testers to reproduce errant behavior and accurately report defects found.
· Execute and verify results of existing automated tests.

Ideal candidate profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 1+ years of professional experience in creating and executing test cases across different platforms (mobile, tablet and desktop).
· Demonstrated working knowledge with various QA methodologies and tools.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in delivering a world-class customer experience (ideally in the digital advertising industry).
