DESCRIPTION

Are you a program manager who is passionate about developing clear processes and structure? Are you Right, A lot, even in ambiguous circumstances? We are looking for a Business Operations PM to work on a team that translates Amazon’s business planning cycle into a well managed process for a large organization.

In this role you will drive and improve business operations, ensuring the organization is planning against the strategy and vision, and enabling senior leadership to produce key operational deliverables while managing their business and teams. This role will identify, develop, and deploy mechanisms that establish a rhythm of the business, support strategic and operational planning, and lead executive reporting on goals and key metrics to keep leadership informed and drive key business decisions. This includes streamlining operational processes, tactical calendaring, reporting and tracking. The Business Operations Program Manager will partner closely with stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional management and dependencies and share vision, goals, and initiatives to help structure team thinking and enable alignment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong program management, operations, and continuous improvement background, and be passionate about mechanisms that help achieve organizational strategy and goals, enable operational productivity and efficiency, and meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to earn trust at all levels within the organization. Maturity, strong business judgment, ability to influence cross-functional teams, a customer-centric, creative mindset and strong analytical skills are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities:
· Strategic Planning – Participate in the three year planning cycle (3YP), the 12 month planning cycle (OP1 and OP2), and develop of annual goals. This includes the preparation and development of content and materials for strategic events.
· Goal Tracking & Reporting – Manage regular goal reporting and visualizations to assist managers to track and monitor goals, as well as business objectives that support OP1 and OP2.
· Monthly Metrics Reporting – Design and manage leadership reporting and dashboards, tell the story around the data, and provide actionable insights to drive decisions and resolve issues.
· Operational Cadence - Manage team calendar of significant milestones and enable stakeholders to adequately prepare for deliverables. Streamline the operational cadence of business activities required by leadership and management.
· Program Management - Manage critical initiatives or projects across stakeholders at all levels as assigned, including change management to ensure adoption. Proactively identify and implement operational improvements to support organizational scaling and leadership productivity.
· Organizational Communication – Drives quarterly, special projects, and ad-hoc internal communications to ensure alignment in strategic objectives based on annual business plans.

The role can be based in Seattle, Nashville or at one of our regional office locations. Virtual Location will be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; strong writing and speaking skills
· Bachelor’s degree
· Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of project management, or project coordination experience
· Willingness to support several projects at one time and to deliver high-quality work on schedule
· Strong business acumen and sensitive to data
· Excellent Microsoft Office/PC skills, including strong working knowledge of Excel
· Comfort working in highly ambiguous spaces with minimal guidance
· Ability to handle highly confidential information
· Demonstrated ability to engage and interact with C-level executives around project and program requirements, status, opportunities and risks.
