Digital Innovation helps business leaders bring better ideas to market faster. We do this through introducing AWS customers to Amazon's peculiar customer-centric approach to innovation, and the way in which Amazon has used technology to accelerate innovation. Many AWS customers are eager to understand best practices for how Amazon.com develops and delivers innovative consumer-facing services, both through the use of AWS services at a huge scale to transform and optimize business processes as well as Amazon's culture and mechanisms that enable that innovation.

The AWS Digital Innovation team is hiring a Program Coordinator, with a primary focus on our ‘Learning from Amazon' (LfA) team, with additional responsibilities to support ‘Culture of Innovation' speaker requests, and broader Digital Innovation program needs. In this role, you will support the operations of a program that is growing rapidly – establishing processes, building mechanisms, and taking them rapidly to scale. Foremost among these is efficiently matching customer requests to learn more about the history, mechanisms, and process behind Amazon.com's most visible innovations to senior Amazon speakers. To do this effectively, you will need to rapidly understand the customer's desired benefit from the session, the required technical level of depth, and balance that with the customer's current strategic relationship to align the optimal speaker from AWS or Amazon. To be effective you will develop relationships and knowledge across the Amazon and AWS businesses, develop a community of relevant speaker/presenters, develop scalable engagement mechanisms and processes, and monitor the health of that speaker community against customer demand. You will also be responsible for co-creation and refinement of internal or customer facing materials and strategies from the programs including (a) customer presentations, (b) public event strategy and coordination, (c) white papers, (d) videos, and (e) Intranet sites and Wikis.

The right candidate will have excellent program/project management experience, be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities, have executive communication experience, and experience developing professional customer facing presentation and printed materials. Experience working at Amazon at some point in your career is highly desirable.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Triage of engagement requests to understand the request and align the optimal speaker to fulfill the request. Gather effectiveness surveys from completed sessions.
· Work cross-functionality with global executive briefing teams and AWS sales leadership to develop mechanisms for efficient handling of incoming request, regular communication on the status of those requests, and the gathering of feedback from delivered sessions.
· Review of Executive Briefing documents for clarity of ask and grammatical editing.
· Partner with AWS Business Development (BD) teams, Amazon Corporate Development Teams, and Amazon.com leaders to identify and recruit AWS speakers building a speaker community for scale.
· Co-develop topic content and speaker enablement material in partnership with Amazon.com leaders and the Learning from Amazon team.
· Measure and analyze customer, speaker and account team feedback, and publish monthly metrics on the frequency and effectiveness of the customer engagements. Ensure that we capture all engagement information that would inform the program's direction and processes.
· Nurture and grow the speaker community to create a forum for cross-functional knowledge sharing amongst the stakeholder group to identify pain points and areas for improvement.
· Serve as an ambassador of AWS's culture, history, and values.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BS/BA degree
· 5+ years of experience managing programs in support of a mid-to-large scale, multi-geographical, high-growth sales organization
