AWS Training and Certification is seeking a talented and experienced marketing professional to drive launches for new digital and classroom offerings for our customers.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Marketing Manager to develop and deliver product launches and innovative programs. The product marketer will drive awareness and adoption of our training offerings designed for our Amazon Web Services customers for external customers—individuals or organizational decision makers—and internal Amazon customers who are adopting AWS.

In this role, you will use customer insights to create compelling messaging, positioning, and launch plans to drive adoption of digital courses among our customers, as well as assist across Training and Certification program launch and adoption activities. You will work closely with other stakeholders to develop and execute joint-marketing plans, lead the launch of new courses, and work to drive ongoing adoption, leveraging a growing understanding of AWS customer and Amazon audiences. You will be responsible for developing materials deliverables that crisply convey value proposition, drive engagement, and support program goals, as well as reporting to track efficacy and benchmark results. You will identify customer needs, propose and execute content needs to solve those needs, and track efficacy over time.

This role requires the ability to analyze messaging and campaign effectiveness, modify programs based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. You are passionate about technology and training, and helping articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms that make sense to customers. You also have a track record of success in developing marketing strategies, running marketing campaigns, and a background in audience targeting and segmentation. The right candidate is extremely data-driven and comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of marketing programs; demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders.

This position is based in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities:
· Drive the launch of new digital training offerings and programs by owning the development of value propositions, core content, marketing, and go-to-market strategies for digital customer training products and programs.
· Develop and drive the marketing plan for driving adoption of AWS Training and Certification with Amazon audiences by partnering with internal enablement teams and program leaders.
· Assist across product lines with programs and initiatives to benefit all customers of AWS Training and Certification.
· Work with Product Management, Curriculum, and subject matter experts to distill key benefits into marketing messages.
· Craft compelling audience-specific messages and tools (e.g., web content, videos, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, etc.) specific to external customers and internal Amazon customers.
· Trial and scale creative mechanisms for attracting a wide range of audiences (e.g., early career individuals and mid-high tenure technologists) to help individuals and companies grow in their capability, confidence, and credibility in the AWS Cloud.
· Forecast, track, and report marketing program and campaign effectiveness metrics as well as overall ROI to internal stakeholders. Plus, continually monitor, analyze and tune marketing activities to maximize conversion and improve value propositions.
· Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for Training and Certification marketing programs and campaigns.
· Work effectively across AWS with groups such as Product Management, Digital Marketing, Field Marketing, Evangelists, and others to achieve business goals.
· Manage multiple priorities as an independent, self-starter with excellent time management within a rapidly evolving business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years’ professional experience in marketing digital or high-technology companies/products
· A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results.
· Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment; IT/technology marketing experience preferred.
· Ability to easily transition from strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
· Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables.
· Strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and tradeoffs to senior executives.
· Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget.
· Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
· Experience working on a global scale.
· Experience or familiarity with education, workforce development, professional development, training, or certification offerings and customer segments.
· MBA degree.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years’ professional experience in marketing digital or high-technology companies/products
· 1+ years’ demonstrated track record of launching innovative products and creating compelling messaging, positioning, and marketing content and launch and adoption marketing plans with a strong digital marketing focus.
· 2+ years’ experience working with industry tools and analytics packages including email, social, web analytics, CRM, business intelligence, and marketing automation platforms. Experience working with industry CRM/Marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, etc) and online analytics packages (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau).
· 2+ years’ demonstrating a bias for action for developing awesome and effective marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, event content, etc.)
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, English, education, or relevant field of study.
