The Neighbors team is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Growth and Strategy Data Analyst to own and drive analysis that helps shape Neighbors’ product and business strategy. You will help build the best product by partnering with product managers, marketing, and engineers to understand product performance and user behavior, develop business cases, and define metrics to guide our business.

Responsibilities
· Generate insights: Retrieve and analyze large data sets to identify key insights and influence the product roadmap
· Drive change: Partner with product managers to present findings on user trends, product engagement, and experiment results in a digestible format
· Support partner teams: Develop dashboards, reports, tools, and resources to empower data access and self-service so your expertise can be leveraged where it is most impactful
· Improve our capabilities: partner with subject matter experts to document and translate business requirements into technical requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline with an outstanding record of academic achievement (e.g., Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Analytics, or similar)
· Solid grasp of common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression)
· Structured thinking, ability to self-manage, and advanced problem-solving skills
· Experience with big data tools and analytical software
· Advanced Microsoft Excel and Tableau skills

Neighbors
Ring launched the Neighbors app as a public safety communication tool that allows users to view and share real-time crime and safety alerts with their neighbors. Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor Degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or similar
· 2+ years of experience as a Business/Financial Analyst or Data Analyst
· Experience converting large datasets into actionable business insights using SQL and Microsoft Excel and visualization tools such as Tableau
· Proven analytical skills and ability to use data to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses
· Knowledge of fundamental relational database technology and terminology
· Comfortable taking initiative and proactively offering recommendations through analysis of various data sources
· Experience juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
