DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for a Military Recruiter in Germany to develop and enhance Amazon's military installation and transition organization visibility in order to recruit and hire the EU's finest military talent.

The Military Recruiter is the ambassador and owner for all programs that target the assigned candidate pool. The Military Recruiter will interact with military representatives and candidates to schedule events, interviews, and other outreach activities. He/She will partner with hiring manager and recruiting teams and other appropriate staff, (i.e., staffing, business leaders, base ambassadors, alumni teams and other internal groups) to ensure successful implementation of programs to maximize hiring outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

· Collaborate with the EU Operations Recruiters, Sourcing leaders, Site Leaders, and General Managers to develop base recruiting strategies at targeted installations.
· Develop operational plans and branding activities at assigned bases along with the base leads, to attract Military Leaders.
· Develop relationships with senior military leaders, transition program point of contacts (POC), and organizations that can help carry our message to the market.
· Create and maintain a detailed base recruiting strategic plans, with clearly defined objectives, desired outcomes, and a calendar of events.
· Partner with the recruiting team to create and execute score cards for our target installations.
· Develop, communicate, and implement military relations workshops, training, recruiter tool kits, and interview guides to ensure that recruiters, presenters, target base teams have the necessary information and skills needed to be effective.
· Utilize social media such as LinkedIn/Xing and Facebook to push our message towards targeted audiences of qualified candidates.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Fluency in English and German
· Degree is required
· Minimum of 2 years of experience with recruiting/marketing or managing program
· Presentation skills to a large audience
· Experience with web portals and social media, e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Alumni websites, blogs, etc.
· Travel is required for position (up to 50%)
