DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Marketing Analyst who will assist in the marketing work streams under the peak events team. This team owns the annual event strategy, peak event calendar and execution across MENA, in alignment with the business and marketing stakeholders. She/he will plan and deliver through key stakeholders the customer proposition, performance plan, off-line marketing, merchandising and deals across the 3 countries.

The role will work across many different teams (retail, product, finance, within marketing) in driving large-scale, high risk projects during peak weeks. The role is responsible for bringing innovation, planning, operational excellence and growth to our largest shopping days and across the multiple initiatives across the year. This role requires a strong analytical understanding, the capability of diving deep into data, and the ability to deliver cohesive marketing and commercial propositions across multiple events within the year. You will help to establish measurable best practices for growing the program towards achievement of goals, set up scalable processes and develop methods for automation to improve overall efficiency.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual with solid marketing, commercial and financial acumen. You must be comfortable working both at the planning level and diving deep into implementation as needed (managing initiatives, writing business requirements and analyzing data).

This role is based in Dubai, UAE.

Key responsibilities include:

- Responsible for program management and reporting of peak sale and smaller topical events.
- Planning and development of strategy and execution for the Events program
- Own and develop a high bar of customer experience for all events in the organization
- Develop go to market strategies including key propositions and constructs for each event
- End to end program management to ensure smooth execution
- Developing and executing new ideas for driving engagement goals
- Building robust processes for smooth execution of the events calendar
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to develop timely inputs, set-up processes across other functions of the organization to maintain a high bar on quality execution
- Partnering with internal brand and digital marketing teams to plan, develop, execute and analyze marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.
- Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and propose action plans
- Establishing guidelines and best practices across teams

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Undergraduate degree in business or marketing or engineering
· 4+ years' experience working in Product/Program management, Consulting, Analytical marketing or Business management
· Outstanding verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
· Executing methodically with high attention to detail, operational excellence and ability to multi-task
· History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
· Superior analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to interpret data and make business recommendations
· Strong on dealing with ambiguity
