DESCRIPTION

The Global Retail Training team supports Amazon employees across the world with localized training content. Our goal is to enable employees to reach proficiency within their function in the least amount of time and continue to provide resources and support as they develop in their role. The team is looking for a customer-obsessed Sr. Product Manager to build a world-class Negotiations program that will develop the pipeline of the next generation of Amazon's business leaders. Solutions must be customer-focused, nimble, and global.

The Sr. Product Manager will lead a team of Product Managers tasked with bringing training content to life in an engaging and practical way. This role will be key in developing cutting-edge products that leverage technological solutions, and continuously evaluating and improving those products so we can deliver the most effective and engaging training possible. In this role, you will be in charge of:

· Leading a team of Product Managers to produce engaging training content using a variety of modes of content delivery
· Building and managing negotiation learning products from the ground up
· Managing the product lifecycle from ideation through launch and subsequent cycles
· Developing long range plans and strategic senior leadership partnerships
· Building and executing on new initiatives and roadmaps each year
· Coordinating product development across international, cross-functional teams
· Designing and implementing new processes to help scale the business
· Proposing new ideas, concepts, or features with confidence, providing supporting data and projected results
· Managing bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making trade-offs, balancing business needs versus technical constraints, and maximizing business benefits while building excellent customer experiences.

This position involves a high degree of coordination and regular communication with leadership on status, relevant insights and operational program metrics. Cross-team coordination and influencing capabilities, superior analytical abilities, project management skills, an executive presence, and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously are all essential. The candidate should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in an entrepreneurial environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Solid project management skills including scoping work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results.
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills - ability to interface with all levels of the organization, with specific strength in setting and managing expectations.
· Strong judgment and instincts.
· Strong business acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and willingness to be vocally self-critical.
· Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.

· Excellent communication skills and editing for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including superior skill in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers.

· Must be able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
