DESCRIPTION

This position is for a Senior Software Engineer in the AWS Inferentia cloud-scale machine learning accelerator team. This engineer will help to define, identify and create key machine learning solutions. This engineer will ensure that AWS Inferentia will meet our customer needs and satisfy the evolving directions of machine learning solutions and will be deeply involved in Tensorflow, MXNet and other frameworks and layers.

This role requires good knowledge of machine learning and the methods by which it is used, knowledge of application development and a strong software development background. The ideal candidate will have the academic depth sufficient to understand the implications of new machine learning solutions and directions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong mathematical/analytical background
· Strong C or C++ coding
· Good web platform/Cloud development skills
· Application development from web service API through backend
· hardware/software development in driver and kernel
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
· Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
