DESCRIPTION

The AWS LatAm Partner organization is seeking a regional partner/channel operations leader with broad technical and operational skills to own all aspects of partner/channel operations for the AWS commercial business. Responsibilities include delivering partner revenue and goal reporting, data driven strategic planning, headcount and investment planning as well as compensation plan, design and operations. In addition, this position will also help assess, create and drive process and systems improvement to ensure best in class accurate reporting. Your work will have an immediate influence on accurate partner revenue and metrics reporting, which provides the foundation for forecasting and planning a large, complex, high growth business.

This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal end-users, external partners and cross-functional data teams to solve problems, implement new reporting solutions and deliver successfully against high reporting and planning standards. The successful candidate will have strong operations/finance background, collaboration and project management skills, a solid view of business, experience working with multiple routes to market, deep experience reporting from multi-transactional data sets and has a proven work ethic that drives the desired results. This is a combination of hands-on, roll-up the sleeves work along with management and mentoring of matrix teams.

This position will primarily support the LatAm commercial sector partner business including teams of partner development managers, partner solutions architects and program teams. This team/leader will also work closely with the LatAm commercial sales teams and the LatAm public sector business. In addition, this role will work closely with other key functional leaders including AWS product teams, finance, legal, tax and HR. The individual must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across disparate global teams to drive the right outcomes for the partner/channel business as well as the overall AWS business.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

Reporting: Ensure accurate reporting across the LatAm commercial partner/channel organization including existing and future headcount, billed revenue (both direct and influenced) and other metrics/goals as required. This person will own the weekly and monthly metrics review process for the organization, working across the team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Strategic HC and Investment Planning and Measurement: Provide analysis and recommendations on where to invest HC and budget to have maximum impact on the overall business, maximizing what is working, filling gaps and divesting in less productive initiatives. This will include leading the compilation of the AWS LatAm Partner/Channel organization's annual planning deliverables including 3 year forecasts for billed revenue, headcount and consulting and operating expense.
This role will also be responsible for the implementation of systems and processes to ensure the accuracy of reporting and payment and will work closely with HR to ensure all compensation methodologies and practices are maintained.
LatAm Expansion: Assist in the planning and opening of new AWS offices in new and existing regions.
Finance: Work with the various finance teams to ensure cross departmental accuracy of reporting.
