The AWS Infrastructure Operations Training & Documentation team is looking for a highly motivated and results-orientated InfraOps Training Specialist who has a proven track record of developing training content and training programs, managing of global projects and initiatives, and collaborating with peers and customers to ensure business objectives are met through innovative and scalable learning solutions.

The successful candidate will have a data center background, excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical content into easy-to-understand training. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have training or technical documentation experience, and above all will have a passion for learning and teaching others.

The primary responsibilities for the InfraOps Training Specialist include:
· Act as a learning partner for the DCO teams in the APJC region, in the identification and deployment of innovative learning solutions to drive professional and career development
· Engage with DCO leaders in scoping and ensuring employees hold the requisite knowledge, skills and competency in exceeding operational excellence
· Facilitate workshops and instructor-led training programs as and when appropriate
· Creating and implementing of learning content, knowledge and practical assessments, and certification mechanisms to further enhance global development frameworks, curricula and learning paths
· Alongside peers, the Training-stream project management of new tools, systems and operating procedures, leading to up-skilling via outward learning interventions, ensuring customer expectations are agreed and exceeded at all times

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of server Operating Systems experience
· 3+ years of Data Center experience
· Server Hardware Troubleshooting experience
· Basic Network operation / support experience
· Strong written & verbal communication skills, both oral and written
· Understanding of Data Center hygiene, safety, and security
· Previous experience in training/education/mentoring
· Understands the content development process
· Recent and relevant hands on experience creating training materials and/or written instructions/procedures
· Self-motivated team player
