Title: Industrial Designer III

Worksite: Seattle, WA

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver the next generation of high-performance fulfilment and transportation systems. Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex material flow/transformation human/machine efficiency problems throughout the global supply chain. Coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfilment and transportation network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to generate high quality, cost effective solutions in very short periods of time, and simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in industrial design, engineering or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a design/innovation engineer, research and development specialist, manufacturing engineer, process engineer, industrial engineer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in industrial design, engineering, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the master's degree and one year of experience. One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: experience CAD surfacing; and experience with Microsoft excel and Microsoft access.
