DESCRIPTION

The HR Generalist supports FC client groups in all HR-related day-to-day activities with a strong focus on servicing employees and people managers. S/he provides front line HR support and has a strong knowledge of the local labor market. S/he acts as a group of resource offering a service that is business agnostic and can be served face to face by phone or email in order to get maximum operating efficiency.
The individual will implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results. The candidate will possess the ability to complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and deadline sensitivity. As such, the candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and organizing logistics. Key to the position is the ability to keep the team organized, prioritized and on time while also serving as a "go to" for all areas and departments which dovetail with HR. This candidate will help foster a cooperative and communicative atmosphere.

The HR Generalist works under the supervision of an SHRM to serve the needs of all managers in their building. S/he is well connected to local labor laws, policies and processes in country and deal with all front line enquiries, escalating more complex queries to local HRBPs as required. The HRBP role will be HR Leader for MEX1, a Non Sort building that employs up to 150 AA and VMEX (vendor flex site) that has a headcount of 20 AA. The HRBP will supervise a Senior HR Assistant and an Ops Admin.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

Employee and business relations:
· Coordination with Agencies for adequate manpower supply and enforcement of contractual terms under the agreement
· Absenteeism/ Attrition Control measures and Leave Management, Daily attendance tracking.
· Agency audits and recording of Compliance records at Site
· Time to time contract closures / renewals of associates and break adherence
· Monthly Agency Bill processing and query resolution with associates/ agency / finance, etc.
· Just in time associate conflict resolution and support in handling external site issues.
· Ensure adequate basic supplies and proper accounting of –lockers, breakroom utilities, etc.
· Site Compliance – record updates and execution on actions
· Engagement Activities – Peak, hot sale & prime calendar, Birthday celebrations, Reward & Recognition or any other events to be organized for associate experience.
· Support in managing associate feedback and monitor the closures – VOA, ADAPT, etc.
· Attend all emergencies at site pertaining to HR services
· To play enabler role for internal stake holder and ensuring HR governance on the policies and procedures
· Daily point of contact for employees and people managers with respective client groups for queries and escalations, i.e. those that cannot be resolved by HR Shared Services or HR Assistants
· Support people managers through all employee related matters that cannot be managed within the Shared Service Centre
· Promote the use of HRS for all HR queries and only provide support on non routine enquiries from employees and people managers
· Support & drive HR business initiatives, HR Project implementations as well as making sure people managers and employees understand.
· Keep abreast of changes to policy, legislation and process through working closely with the HRA and Policy team to ensure that a mechanism exists to ensure that managers are receiving the correct advise
· Roles and Responsibilities.

Talent Management:
· Assist managers during probation periods to ensure successful integration of new joiners
· Support employee performance cycle and provide HRBP support with the OLR review process where practical (ownership of functional OLR responsibility decided in country)
· Assist managers and employees in the promotion process, promo docs and PDPs – i.e. advise on how to construct and manage the process effectively
· Take part in compensation planning and salary review process including the review of off cycle and exception compensation requests that cannot be managed within the Shared Service center
· Support the internal mobility process in partnership with the TA team and HR Services
· Support People managers in any disciplinary, performance improvement or grievance processes and subsequent meetings required engaging the legal team as required
· Conduct exit interviews and provide insights into reasons for leaving
· Partner with HRBP on the execution of any org changes or change management initiatives as appropriate – i.e. provide managers and employees with the necessary tools to make the changes effective.
· Develop SME knowledge on a given subject and be able to handle more complex enquiries for SME areas such as ER, diversity, learning and development, etc.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Completed bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, HR, Industrial engineering or related area.
· First professional experience (up to 3 years) as an HR Assistant or similar role.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization to achieve results.
· Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
· Strong understanding of Labor related laws and local practices.
· Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, pharmaceutical or automotive environment.
· Should be proficient in using MS Office, Excel and data related tools.
· Fluent English and Spanish.
