You will be an important part of Amazon’s Advertising Analytics and Insights (A&I) team within Amazon Advertising that builds our main advertising portal for Amazon Advertising. The team is growing rapidly and your work will be highly visible, providing ample opportunities for growth. We are looking for a top-notch front-end engineer who is an expert in modern web technologies, React, TypeScript and has built amazing user experience websites handling large customer traffic. You are someone who loves working in a fast-paced setting and wants to build products and user experiences that will delight millions of users.
A front-end engineer in A&I team will be fully responsible for every aspect of the front-end software development cycle, including design and development of highly interactive web applications, software deployment and testing using continuous integration tools, and monitoring to ensure high availability. You’ll participate in all major software/architectural design decisions, help to define and optimize the team’s development workflow, ensure code quality is of the highest possible quality, and ensure the team is adhering to software development best practices.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience with object-oriented design
· 2+ years of professional non-internship experience with front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
· 3+ years professional experience in software development
· 3+ years of experience in Web development and web technologies (React, JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6, or Node.JS)
· Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design and data structures.
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
· Excellent interpersonal communication and strong verbal and written English skills
