Job description

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for innovative engineers to grow a rapidly expanding applications development team. This organization has the charter to build software at the core of AWS by empowering the engineers and representatives who assist customers at all levels to provide unparalleled service and insight. When AWS Services go down, our team provides the tooling that enables the response. Our number one goal is to enable relevant and timely communication to AWS customers when they need it most. You will own execution towards that goal, delivering applications incrementally for your customers by obsessing over their needs so that they can focus on their obsession for AWS customers.

As part of a growing team, you will have opportunities to mentor and coach other engineers. You would be joining as we begin building a huge new product for AWS that is being kept under wraps until announcement at re:Invent 2020. You would be responsible for implementing technology solutions that can scale at the rapidly growing pace of the AWS customer and partner community. You will help to shape product vision and quickly iterate on front-end interfaces and have a working knowledge of back-end data handling. You consider usability, accessibility, and performance in the products you build and work backward from the customer to anticipate their needs. You leverage your knowledge of the nuances, pitfalls and strengths of the various front-end development frameworks and associated best practices.
