The core mission of AWS Marketing is to educate customers about cloud computing and our services. Millions of customers visit our sites https://aws.amazon.com and https://aws.amazon.com/blogs every day.
Imagine building a platform that speaks to engineers and CTOs, to educate them about AWS services. Imagine advocating to small start-ups and large enterprises in their cloud journey. We're seeking a talented, self-directed Front End Engineer to design and build engaging, personalized customer experiences across the AWS websites. You'll lead the implementation of web analytics tracking and search-engine optimization techniques. This role offers wide scope, autonomy, and ownership. You'll have a seat at the table and will be counted on to be an influential voice in decisions related to system architecture, feature development and product strategy. We have an ambitious mission requiring an engineer with great judgment and a track record of building great customer experiences.
The ideal candidate should have deep end-to-end web application knowledge, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have experience (1) optimizing client-side performance and (2) in mobile development. The candidate should be willing to take on challenging initiatives and capable of working both independently and with others, as a team.
