Hourly pay rate: $18.00
**This is a full time position, averaging 30-40 hours per week

As a Shipper you will work in our offsite kitchen to produce Amazon Go's branded selection of ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and meal kits available in the Amazon Go stores. We make high quality food products that require exceptional attention to detail to produce. We are all about effective processes, consistently ensuring we are always operating at a highly efficient level. We are a fast paced food production team that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of our stores and customers.

Who are you?
As a Food Production Shipper you are a vital part of the kitchen team ensuring our final products are shipped, handled, and quality checked before they get to our customer. You take great pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain and monitor proper food safety at all times including, food storage, and sanitation
· Audit for food quality control
· Follow standard work guidelines, processes, and identify opportunities for improvements
· Identify and communicate barriers to completing assigned tasks
· Perform additional duties as assigned
· Work a schedule which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
· Possess and/or be able to obtain local food handling certification where required
· Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Stand on your feet during shifts lasting up to 10 hours
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Work in a cold refrigerated environment (cold gear will be provided)
- Work with or be exposed to a wide range of food products including but not limited to poultry, pork, beef, seafood, nuts, egg, dairy, soy, grains, bread, etc.
- Perform repetitive motions for long periods of time

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· High School diploma or equivalent diploma
· 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, distribution center, production facility, or a commercial kitchen
