Amazon is seeking a Finance Analyst for the Books FP&A team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most transformative businesses at Amazon.Books FP&A is faced with the challenge of building new systems, processes and analytics that will best support strategic decision making as the company continues to rapidly grow in complexity and size.

The successful candidate will be a key player in consolidating results and crafting the financial story as part of month-end and strategic planning processes. The role requires a strong self-starter mentality, and will stretch your leadership skills while also requiring you to digest the complexity of the Books P&L to deliver meaningful insight to leadership.

The role entails interaction with Books leadership around the world requiring a balance of strong analytical and communication skills.

Duties may include:

· Collecting, analyzing, and reviewing quantitative data and making recommendations for a path forward as a result
· Develop and refine financial reporting to create solutions that scale for the organization
· Coordinating with many teams to optimize efforts across the Books organization
· Executing ad hoc analysis and providing thoughtful business insights

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
