Amazon seeks an experienced Financial Analyst to play a key role on our Amazon Devices Finance team. Job responsibilities include:
· Short and long-term headcount and financial planning
· Building financial models, tracking actuals, and explaining variances
· Developing scalable and efficient processes to support financial reporting and headcount tracking, and related business processes
· Establishing and maintaining operation and business metrics
· Providing analytical support
· Presenting financial models to senior management
The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self-starter with strong data gathering and modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role also has regular interaction with various business owners and finance across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
