Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., originally creating the best-selling Kindle family of products. Since then, we have produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?

This role requires strong business acumen, a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent Excel and data mining skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, managing large data sets, deep dive analytics, system and process improvements and working in a matrix organization.
Primary responsibilities:
· Support new manufacturing site(s) set up.
· Drive financial process standardization and policy compliance.
· Justify investment and track savings from investment
· Provide support for month end reviews, forecasts, and annual operating plans
· Host regular review/ad hoc review with the team to provide financial insights and drive efficiency improvement
· Partner with Operations team to improve forecasting of manufacturing related expenditures.
· Build financial models, presenting analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
· Develop, maintain, and track key operations metrics

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
