DESCRIPTION

The Amazon DBS EMR organization is looking for an experienced executive assistant to support a Director and a GM. This role requires impeccable attention to detail, structured organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines–all while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams. The executive assistant acts as a seamless extension of the executives and works closely with other executive assistants throughout the organization. The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented and experienced business professional with the demonstrated ability to respond efficiently while maintaining flexibility and composure.

The executive assistant must understand business priorities and demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs to drive improvements and build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is critical as are professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company. The executive assistant also must be able to complete complex tasks quickly and autonomously, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require quick turnarounds, and take effective action in ambiguous situations. Last, the executive assistant must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

Areas of responsibility:
· Manage complex calendars and scheduling to support teams across multiple locations and time zones
· Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, lunches, and team social events)
· Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
· Act as an extension of the general manager to direct reports
· Manage the team space, including moves and reconfigurations
· Manage domestic and international travel
· Manage expense report coordination and submission
· Work closely with the leadership team, human resources, recruiting, and other executive assistants to provide seamless support across the organization

· Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

· Bachelor’s degree
