Executive Assistant

  • Seattle (King)

Job description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking a smart, efficient, organized, and motivated individual with a history of high performance to support 2-3 Directors in Physical Stores, who are key leaders of our organization. The executive assistant role is a high impact position that enables Amazon's Physical Shopping business to be a high functioning and growing business. In addition to flawlessly planning and executing, the successful individual will independently solve problems and take on projects to improve the organization. The position is located in Seattle, Washington.

While the primary responsibility will be to provide support to 2-3 very busy Directors, the individual will operate in a team environment and independently manage initiatives to improve efficiency and innovation. This position will partner closely with their teams, plus the Physical Stores EA team and other existing executive assistants throughout Amazon. The role requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, the ability to find solutions to problems, juggle multiple requests, and identify ways to drive efficiency. More than anything, the successful individual will organize each of the Directors he/she supports to plan ahead, focus on highest-impact areas, and operate at high efficiency.

A high level of integrity and discretion in handling highly confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. A good sense of humor is important, as is flexibility and the ability to change direction at a moment's notice. The successful candidate will possess the skills to react with appropriate urgency to situations which require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action without having to know the complete picture, and proactively solve complex problems. We expect the individual will have a lot of fun in the job as well.

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to think and plan ahead, and manage time effectively. Other key responsibilities include:
· Manage complex calendar and scheduling for multiple executives

· Other duties as needed to keep all Directors as effective and efficient as possible on a daily basis
